Matt Denton is a British animatronics and robotics engineer who is best known for his work on BB-8 in Star Wars: The Force Awakens and the striking character Babu Frik, which, according to insiders, was slightly inspired by his passion for robotics.
He specialises in animatronics, robotics and engineering for film and TV. Denton has also worked on animatronics for films such as Harry Potter, Prometheus and many more.
Matt Denton is the technical genius and talent behind many of our famous Droids and Creatures in many franchises.
And he is also the T-Rex in Jurassic World.
A versatile guy for anyone interested in how the magic of Star Wars comes to life.
