Michael Ironside

Our next guest is iconic on both the small and big screen.

As a prominent character actor with more than 270 film and television credits, you are undoubtedly familiar with his presence.

He is known for playing villains and anti-heroes, especially in action and science fiction films, and had his breakthrough role in the 1981 David Cronenberg film ‘Scanners’.

He then played a major role in two films by the Dutch grandmaster Paul Verhoeven: ‘Total Recall’ and ‘Starship Troopers’. These films brought him fame as Richter — the antagonist of Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Quaid — and Lieutenant Jean Rasczak.

In ‘Highlander II: The Quickening’, he played the corrupt General Katana alongside our other guest, Christopher Lambert. He also had prominent roles in ‘Top Gun’, ‘Visiting Hours’, ‘The A-Team’, ‘Masters of Horror’, ‘Smallville’, ‘V’ and ‘V: The Final Battle’.
